The TK4850E DC EV Charger Tester is a portable, all-in-one solution designed for efficient on-site verification of DC fast chargers. It eliminates the need for bulky external loads or EVs, enabling single-operator testing with unmatched flexibility. The accuracy is class 0.1 and class 0.05. The device is equipped with a built-in 8kW DC load, and the load can be cascaded up to 240kW.
Key Advantages:
✅ High Accuracy: Class 0.1/0.05 metering for precise compliance (JJG 1149, IEC 61851)
✅ Built-in & Cascadable Load: 8kW integrated load (expandable to 240kW) – no extra equipment required
✅ Multi-Load Modes: Test using built-in resistance, external loads, or real EVs
✅ Wireless Tablet Operation: Intuitive control for one-person field testing
✅ Comprehensive Tests: Covers working error (energy accuracy) and clock time error in one device
2.1 Portable & All-in-One Design
o Compact size with integrated 8kW DC load – ideal for on-site use.
o Eliminates dependency on external resistance loads or parked EVs.
2.2 Flexible Load Expansion
o Cascade loads up to 240kW for high-power charger testing.
o Compatible with new energy vehicles as dynamic loads.
2.3 Effortless Operation
o Wireless tablet control simplifies testing workflows.
o Single operator can perform full verification in minutes.
2.4 Regulatory Compliance
o Validates energy metering accuracy (e.g., ±0.5% for Class 0.5 chargers).
o Tests clock synchronization (critical for time-based billing).

Tablet Interface of The Testing Software
The charger visual inspection is designed for checking the appearance of the tested EV charger, to make sure the charger looks properly and basic functions are normal. Once it is finished, the working error/operating error testing starts. Generally, the software will test the charger two times and calculate the average error of the two measurements. Based on the average error, comparing it to the preset accumulated energy of the tested charger, the system will determine whether it is within the allowable error range and display the testing result as "Pass" or "Fail."

Test Result Display
When the test is completed, the system will automatically enter the testing results display interface. The test results can be exported and printed.
The TK4850E supports load extension and can connect to high-power DC resistive loads for testing. The maximum load can be reached up to 240kW.
