TI2100 is a high-stability DC high-current standard source. Featuring a modular design, it supports the combined output of multiple current sources to accommodate various current rating requirements. The device offers high reliability, lightweight construction, and a compact footprint, while supporting long-duration continuous operation. It is ideal for testing and analyzing high-current measurement instruments such as current sensors and DC shunts.

2. Applications

2.1 Calibration of DC shunt

  • Can be used together with a DC voltmeter to form a complete DC shunt testing and analysis system, enabling calibration using the standard source   method.

  • When used with TUNKIA's DC shunt testing software, automated testing can be realized, significantly improving testing efficiency.

  • The current source provides a maximum load voltage of 10 V, making it suitable for simultaneous testing of multiple shunts on production lines.
      (Note: The number of shunts that can be connected simultaneously depends on the load characteristics of the shunts under test.)

  • Supported test items include basic error testing, error consistency testing, error stability testing, measurement repeatability testing, shunt   thermal equilibrium testing, overload testing, and more.


2.2 Calibration of Current Sensor

  • Can be integrated with a sensor secondary signal measuring instrument, auxiliary sensor power supply, and other supporting equipment to establish a comprehensive current sensor testing and analysis system.

  • Compatible with TUNKIA's current sensor testing software, enabling automated testing and improved testing efficiency.

  • Supported test items include zero-output error, basic accuracy error, hysteresis, repeatability, linearity, zero-offset drift, full-scale output drift, thermal zero-offset drift, and thermal full-scale output drift (when used with a temperature and humidity chamber), among others.

  • The high-stability DC high-current standard source consists of a measurement and control unit and modular current source units.

  • The measurement and control unit coordinates and controls the outputs of multiple current source units, ensuring accurate current sharing and maintaining output accuracy and stability.

  • Featuring a modular architecture, each current source unit provides up to 1.5 kA output. Multiple units can be connected in parallel to achieve a total output of N × 1.5 kA, enabling flexible configuration according to application requirements and supporting future system expansion.
