1. Summary


TD4550 is an intelligent, highly integrated electrical instrument test system, a portable instrument dedicated to calibrating three-phase AC energy meters and power meters. It has a built-in three-phase standard source with three optional specifications: class 0.02 / class 0.05 / class 0.1. One device can complete the basic energy error detection, energy meter constant test, standard deviation, start-up test, creep test and other test items of the energy meter.

  • 3-phase voltage   standard source (ACV): output range 6 V~456 V @ 45 Hz~65 Hz

  • 3-phase current   standard source (ACI): output range 2   mA~120 A @ 45 Hz~65 Hz

  • 3-phase power   standard source: a virtual power   standard source composed of three-phase voltage and current independent   outputs and adjustable phases.

  • Class 0.02: suitable for calibrating single/three-phase voltage   meters and ammeters of class 0.1 and below; suitable for calibrating active   power meters of class 0.1 and below, reactive power meters of class 0.1 and   below, apparent power meters, and power factor meters.

  • Class 0.05: suitable for calibrating single/three-phase voltage   meters and ammeters of class 0.2 and below; suitable for calibrating active   power meters of class 0.2 and below, reactive power meters of class 0.2 and   below, apparent power meters, and power factor meters.

Multiple Value   Output Modes

  • "Direct   output" mode: Users can directly set the required output   value by pressing the digital buttons on the console or clicking the touch   screen. The instrument will automatically switch to the optimal range output,   making it very convenient to calibrate digital instruments.

  • Especially when setting power, you can directly enter the voltage value,   current value, and frequency.

  • When setting three-phase power, it supports three-phase unified   regulation or phase-by-phase regulation.

  • For the calibration of electric energy meters, the commonly used voltage,   current load points and power factor points have been configured in the   interface.


Multiple   Value Output Modes

  • When calibrating electrical measuring instruments, it is usually   necessary to select calibration points according to the proportion of each   range of the meter being tested.

  • Users can easily select the calibration points of the meter being tested   through the "%  output   button" on the instrument console or the "percent calibration   point" on the touch screen.

  • The operation   area is equipped with a "Rotary Knob" that can   increase or decrease the value output by rotating it clockwise or   counterclockwise.



☆ Harmonics Function (Option)

Set the amplitude of the selected harmonic. You can set the absolute value of the voltage or current harmonic, or set it as a percentage of the fundamental.

Set the phase of the selected harmonic first (relative to the fundamental wave).

The instrument has the output function of the 2nd to 21st harmonics. The embedded software is equipped with a user-defined "harmonic parameter setting" interface. The user can set the required harmonics according to the test requirements.

It has an oscilloscope function, which can observe the AC phase power waveform after the harmonic is loaded.

The spectrum of each harmonic is intuitively displayed in the form of a bar graph (the fundamental wave is 100%).

  • Optional automatic calibration software, suitable for various electrical measuring instruments, automatic testing according to the test items in JJG 596-2012 "Electronic AC Energy Meter Calibration Procedure", and automatic generation of test reports to improve detection efficiency.

  • Supports fully automatic or semi-automatic calibration of the tested equipment, raw data recording, analysis, management and customized template report export.

  • *(During fully automatic calibration, the tested equipment should have communication function and open communication protocol to realize data reading.)

  • Software functions can be customized according to customer needs, and support subsequent software upgrades to add new procedure test requirements.
