TS1300 AC/DC Magnetic Properties Measuring System for Electrical Steel

TS1300 is a special instrument for measuring the AC/DC magnetic properties of electrical steel. It consists of excitation and measurement host (AC and DC), Epstein frame, Single Sheet Tester (optional), computer software, etc. It is suitable for comprehensive analysis of AC magnetic characteristics of electrical steel or core.

1. Summary

TS1300 is a special instrument for measuring the AC/DC magnetic properties of electrical steel. It consists of excitation and measurement host (AC and DC), Epstein frame, Single Sheet Tester (optional), computer software, etc. It is suitable for comprehensive analysis of AC magnetic characteristics of electrical steel or core.


2. Features

Electrical parameters calibration function.

Measurement of magnetic field by M.C and H-Coil (optional).

Maximum magnetization field reaches 30 kA/m (700 T Epstein frame).

The maximum frequency can be selected to 20kHz.

2 ~ 63 harmonics influence measurement (optional).

Slowly reduce amplitude demagnetization for specimen.

Software controlled automatic measurement.

Automatic multi-point measurement.

The software has been configured with multiple measurement schemes

Automatic calculates magnetic parameters and curves.

Modular design, easy to upgrade or maintenance.

Ultra-wide range of current continuously and stably regulated.

Switch the Permeameter by software without repeated wiring.


3. The reference standard

IEC 60404-2 "Magnetic materials-Part 2 Methods of measurement of the magnetic properties of electrical steel strip and sheet by EP".

IEC 60404-3 "Magnetic materials-Part 3 Methods of measurement of the magnetic properties of electrical steel strip and sheet by SST".

IEC 60404-10 "Magnetic materials-Part 10-Methods of measurement of magnetic properties of electrical steel strip and sheet at medium frequencies".

Conditions :(23 ± 5), demagnetized before measurement.

Accuracy: 1%~2% deviation will occur according to the way and position of loading the sample in the measuring frame.

Repeatability: put the same specimens in the specified position and keep it from moving, and measure it repeatedly for 10 times. Take the maximum or minimum value of 10 measurements minus the average value divided by the average value, and the maximum value of the two represents repeatability.

Note: [1] The table only gives reference measuring points, and the indexes such as Hm, Jm/Bm, Ps that can be reached by the specimens during actual measure are related to the performance of the material, quality of the specimens, frequency, current, voltage, etc.

Note: [2] B5 refers to the magnetic flux density value when the magnetic field H is 5 A/m, and the typical measuring points of non-oriented steel are in parentheses.

Note: [3] P0.1 refers to the specific total loss value when flux B is 0.1T, and the typical measure point for non-oriented steel is in parentheses.

Note: [4] For medium and high frequency measurment, select the corresponding Epstein frame.

Note: [5] When the selected effective excitation power is 1500VA, the magnetic field can reach 30 kA/m with the corresponding Epstein frame.

Note: [6] The uncertainty and repeatability are at typical measuring points, and are related to the performance of the measured material.

The built-in coil of air flux compensation conforms to IEC60404-2 or IEC60404-10 standards.

The cutting and placement of specimens shall comply with IEC60404-2.

TS1300 AC DC Magnetic Properties Measuring System for Electrical Steel Multichannel Permeameters Switch 

The device is an accessory for a device measuring the magnetic properties of soft magnetic materials or electrical steel.

A number of magnetic measuring host (DC or AC) or excitation device (Epstein frames, single sheet testers, etc.) terminal of the excitation and the measuring terminal can be connected to the device by wire, and freely switch through software.

      Access up to 2-channel magnetic measuring host and 6-channel excitation device.
