The TS2400 is an analysis system specifically designed for measuring the magnetic properties of electrical steel sheets as a function of orientation (full-angle).
The system consists of a single sheet tester, an excitation and magnetic measurement main unit, fully automatic measurement software, a precision electronic balance, and other components. It enables the measurement of the magnetic properties of specimens over an angle range of 0° to 360° within a certain frequency range.
The system features independent electrical parameter calibration capability.
High degree of automation; the operator simply inserts the single sheet specimen into the single sheet tester to begin testing.
Magnetic field strength measurement is compatible with both the current method (M.C method) and the field coil method (H-Coil method).
Equipped with automatic demagnetization function, with options to demagnetize using "Lock Bm" or "Lock Hm".
Professional software enables automatic measurement of magnetic properties.
User-friendly software with multiple pre-configured test schemes.
Automatically calculates magnetic parameters and plots characteristic curves; supports data management.
Modular design of the main unit, single sheet tester, etc., facilitating easy upgrade or maintenance.
Output Capability | Excitation Voltage | 0.1 Vrms ~ 200 Vrms
Excitation Current | 0.5 mApk ~ 15 Apk
Frequency Range | 45 Hz ... 400 Hz
Effective Excitation Power | 0 ~ 500 VA
Measurement Specifications | Frequency Range (Hz) | Best Measurement Uncertainty (k=2) of RMS Voltage/Current | Best Measurement Uncertainty (k=2) of Active Power |
45 ≤ F ≤ 65 | 0.05%*RG ⑤ | 0.1%*FS ⑥
65 < F ≤ 400 | 0.05%*RG ⑤ | 0.15%*FS ⑥
Note ⑤: RG = range value. ⑥: FS = voltage range value × current range value, when the phase angle is within 75°.
Typical Frequency Point | Magnetic Parameter | Typical Test Point① | Best Measurement Uncertainty (k=2) | Best Repeatability |
50Hz / 60Hz | Hm | 10 A/m...5 kA/m | 0.5% | 0.2% |
KJ④ | J10 ②... J5000 | 0.5% | 0.2%
KPs⑤ | P0.1 ③... P1.7 ( P1.5 )④ | 1.0% | 0.5%
400 Hz | Hm | 10 A/m...1 kA/m | 1.0% | 0.3% |
KJ④ | J10 ②... J1000 | 1.0% | 0.3%
KPs⑤ | P0.1 ③... P1.7 ( P1.5 )④ | 2.0% | 1.0% |
Test conditions: (23 ± 5) °C. The specimen shall be demagnetized before testing.
Accuracy of measured values: Depending on the method and position of the specimen in the measurement frame, a deviation of 1% to 2% may occur.
Repeatability of measured values: For the same specimen placed in the specified position without further movement, perform 10 repeated measurements. The repeatability is calculated as: Repeatability = (maximum value – minimum value) ÷ average value × 100%.
Note ①: The table provides only reference test points. The actual achievable Hm, Jm/Bm, Ps, and other parameters depend on the material properties, quality, test frequency, test current, load voltage, etc.
Note ②: J10 refers to the magnetic polarization when the magnetic field strength H is 10 A/m, and so forth. The values in parentheses are typical test points for non-oriented electrical steel.
Note ③: P0.1 refers to the specific total loss when the magnetic flux density B is 0.1 T. The maximum test point is the maximum measurable point at 0° as indicated.
Note ④: KJ = J_δ / J_0°, where the test specimen is a circular specimen.
Note ⑤: KPs = Ps_δ / Ps_0°, where the test specimen is a circular specimen.
